Amber Wheat Bran

The bran is the outermost part of a wheat grain. It is rich in fiber, vitamin-B, phytochemicals and trace minerals like iron, zinc, iodine, copper, manganese, and selenium.

It is a great source of condensed insoluble fiber and is specifically great for constipation and other bowel disorders.

Wheat bran is also rich in prebiotics, which are nondigestible fibers that act as a source of food for your healthy gut bacteria, increasing their numbers, which, in turn, promotes bowel health.

It can be added to chapatis and breads alike. It is best to start slowly adding high fiber to your diet.

Soak it in water for a few hours before adding it to your chapatis. Make sure that you are balancing high fiber with other nutritional food to have a balanced diet.
